Dan Karvasek photos have appeared on numerous publications locally on Whidbey Island, Washington as well as nationally and internationally. 

 

 

 

Dan’s image was chosen in an Island-wide contest to be featured on the Whidbey Telecom 2011-2012 phonebook cover.

 

 

 

 

 

 

In Washington, Dan was honored to be the first photographer ever chosen to be featured on all 8 of MacGregor’s Plaid phonebook covers throughout Northwest Washington.  His images were also chosen for 4 Visitor’s Guide Covers.  

 

 

 

 

His images have been a popular choice for use in advertising posters such as the Kite Festival, the Mussel Festival, the 75th Anniversary of the Admiralty Head Lighthouse and the 100th Anniversary of the Greenbank Farm.

 

 

 

 

 

Cover, MacGregor’s 2005-2006 Visitors’ Guide

 

Nikon chose Dan’s “Winter Dance” for their 2002 calendar.   He was one of four US photographers chosen from image submissions from around the world.

 

 

 

 

 

Nationally, in 2006 Dan completed assignments for magazines such as AAA Journey Magazine and Runners World Magazine.  Dan’s “Deception Pass” image was featured on the cover of Spanning Washington, released in 2006.
